The Concept
The logo mark is contains a play on an N for the brand name and city buildings. The 2 pieces on the logo are the same but they are flipped and symetrical. It also creates a contrast with one striped piece and one solid piece.

After choosing a style for the logo, the next step was to add typography. The typefaces has been hand picked to compliment the character and style of the brand.

The idea of this typeface is to be geometric, and elegant, with a vintage feeling, for use in larger sizes. It is inspired by geometric sans-serif designs from the 1920s. The x-height is halfway from the baseline to the cap height, an unusual proportion.
